Hi fitness family!

It’s already the end of May, and summer is right around the corner! ☀️ Summer officially starts on June 21st, which means many of us will be traveling and going on vacation.

A lot of my clients ask me how to stay healthy and fit while they’re away, but don’t worry, it’s totally doable. Your routine might look different, and that’s okay!

Here are my go-to tips for staying fit while on vacation:

🚶‍♀️ 1. Get Your Steps In

Don’t underestimate the power of walking! Whether you’re exploring a new place or walking along the beach, getting your steps in is a simple way to stay active and keep your body moving.

🥗 2. Prioritize Fiber & Protein

Try to include fiber and protein in your meals when you can. Fiber helps with digestion, and protein supports muscle and keeps you feeling full longer. It’s a simple way to stay balanced while still enjoying your food.

🌊 3. Do Recreational Activities

Take advantage of being active in a fun way! Swimming, snorkeling, surfing, hiking, biking - the options are endless. Turn it into a group activity so you can stay active while making memories!

💧 4. Stay Hydrated

With the heat and sunshine, hydration is key. Keep a water bottle with you and sip throughout the day to stay energized.

😴 5. Don’t Forget to Rest

Rest is just as important as movement. Getting enough sleep helps your body recover and keeps your energy up so you can enjoy your trip!

✅ Final Thought

Remember, your routine doesn’t have to be perfect while you’re on vacation. Focus on staying active, making balanced choices, and enjoying yourself.

Fitness is about consistency over time not perfection for one week. Enjoy your trip, stay present, and have fun! 💪✈️
